Follr Achieves Record Third Quarter New User Growth

This is the eleventh consecutive quarter of record growth for the company

Wappingers Falls, NY (Friday, October 23rd, 2020) Follr, Inc., a sports and fan-based SaaS (Software as a Service) company, today announced record new user growth for the eleventh consecutive quarter.

Growth highlights included:

  • The number of new user registrations for the quarter increased by more than 47% versus the third quarter 2019
  • The number of new user registrations for the quarter increased by more than 28% versus the second quarter 2020
  • Each month in the quarter broke the previous highest single month record for new user registrations
  • September new user registrations saw the highest increase; more than 70% versus September 2019 and 16% over August 2020

Part of the growth is attributed to the Coronavirus pandemic. With sports events canceled globally, fans are increasingly going online to watch and read sports content which has driven increased usage of the Follr platform. In addition, the company has added several new podcasts and video channels to existing sports communities continuing the goal of being a single source for the best online sports content.

  • The average number of new user registrations for the quarter increased by more than 15% versus the second quarter 2019
  • June saw the highest single month number of new user registrations in the companies history which included:
    • an increase of more than 26% versus June 2019
    • an increase of 13% over May 2020.
