According to CIES Football Observatory Harry Kane now tops the transfer values becoming the world’s most expensive soccer/football player. He is joined by Neymar Junior (2nd), Lionel Messi (4th) and fellow Tottenham player Dele Alli (6th). Interestingly Ronaldo comes in at number 24.

Premier League Clubs Break Summer Transfer Record

Premier League clubs smashed the summer transfer record yet again, splurging £1.43 billion on players. As the window finally shut yesterday, they also took transfer deadline day spending to a record £210 million, despite many of the highest-profile moves never happening. Romelu Lukaku made the most expensive Premier League move of the summer, switching from Everton to Manchester United for £75 million. Local rivals Manchester City had the highest transfer spending at £215 million, ahead of Chelsea’s £192 million.
