The MailOnline has published a list of the most expensive football kits (soccer uniform for our American friends) in the Premier League. Who do you think is first?
It’s not Crystal Palace. They are 11th with a fully ‘authentic’ kit costing £90.97 (£51.99 for the shirt, plus £24.99 for shorts and £13.99 for socks):
It’s also not Norwich (10th – £94: £60 shirt, £22 shorts, £12 socks), Aston Villa (9th – £135: £80 shirt, £40 shorts, £15 socks) or Newcastle (7th – £137: £95 shirt, £28 shorts, £14 socks).
In third it’s Man Utd – £151.85 (£99.95 shirt, £34.95 shorts, £16.95 socks)
In second it’s Chelsea: £160.85 (£89.95 shirt, £54.95 shorts, £15.95 socks)
And topping them all, in first, is Tottenham with a full kit running at £161 (£90 shirt, £55 shorts, £16 socks) which is just shy of $200:
‘Replica’ kits are cheaper and the most expensive award goes to Manchester United:
